SECURITY : The Santa Carmela HOA has strict security; you will be required to present a government-issued photo ID to check in with security at the front gate. This is for guest and resident protection. ·
Visitors and guests must leave a current ID at the entrance
WE ARE REQUIRED BY THE HOA TO PROVIDE A PHOTO ID FOR EACH GUEST IN YOUR PARTY PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. WE WILL REQUEST PHOTOS OF EACH ID VIA AIRBNB MESSAGE.
ACCESS : The house has an electronic keypad on the front door. You will receive the code via your booking platform (i.e. AirBnB or VRBO) the morning of arrival. PLEASE NOTE: There is a backup lockbox with physical keys in it in case the key malfunctions. The code is the same as the door code.
PARKING : Overnight parking on the street is not permitted; parking on the sidewalk is not permitted at any time. You may park in front of the garage. Left side of the driveway. Please make sure you pull up all the way beacause the gate could swing shut and hit your car. We´re not responsible for any damage caused to your vehicle .
QUIET HOURS : Santa Carmela is a residential neighborhood. The HOA strictly enforces quiet hours from 10 pm - 8 am; please refrain from making excessive noise that may bother the neighbors. Guests will be responsible for any fines incurred by HOA violations.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION : The only transportation services legally allowed at the airport are private transportation companies, taxis, and rental cars. Please click the “Transportation” link if you would like to see rates for private transportation from the airport to the property.
LOCAL TRANSPORTATION : Uber is available in Los Cabos, but is notoriously unreliable. Taxis are great for returning to the house, but it can be hard to call them for pickups. We recommend a private driver named Felipe Martinez- he is very reliable, English-speaking, and charges comparable rates to Uber. Text or calls please contact

ACs and STREAMING SERVICES : We will leave the ACs and TV on so you know they are working upon arrival.
POOL and BEACH ACCESS: There are two community pools - one is about a block from the house, and the other is oceanfront in the private Santa Carmela Beach Club. Take the road leading to the ocean and you’ll see the walking path entrance with a sign. POOL HOURS: 6 am to 10 pm. You will receive a map link with a pin dropped at each pool via AirBnB.
TRASH : Please be sure trash placed in the outside container is bagged. The containers are located in the small storage room on the left side by the main entrance.
POOL AND GARDENING: The pool and gardening service providers come on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please be aware that they will access the property on those days; if you are using the pool when they come, please let them clean quickly to avoid any issues during your stay.
WATER USAGE : Please conserve water to avoid inconveniences during your stay. Water supply for ALL private homes in Los Cabos is held in cisterns underneath the houses; the municipality sends water to neighborhoods in a round-robin, usually once every 2 - 3 weeks, to fill all the cisterns. If the water runs out we will have to call a water truck to refill the cistern. Our team will need to access to the patio where the cistern is located. Water trucks only run from 8 am to 8 pm.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY : Our concierge staff is available through your booking platform (i.e. Airbnb, VRBO, etc) from 9 am to 9 pm Cabo time, 7 days a week.
