Helpful information

SECURITY : The Misiones HOA has strict security; you will be required to present a government-issued photo ID to check in with security at the front gate. This is for guest and resident protection.
- The HOA requires that we send you their Welcome Packet, which includes a map, community rules, and a form that each guest must print and fill out. We have already explained that many guests may not have access to a printer, but their official policy remains.
- Out of an abundance of caution due to the pandemic, the Misiones HOA requires that we provide the phone number and email of at least one guest per party. You will only be contacted in case of emergency as related to the pandemic; according to the HOA, all data will be purged from their system every 30 days.
ACCESS : The condo has an electronic keypad on the front door. You will receive the code via your booking platform (i.e. AirBnB or VRBO) the morning of arrival. PLEASE NOTE: There is a backup lockbox with physical keys in it in case the key malfunctions. The code is the same as the door code.
QUIET HOURS : Misiones is a residential neighborhood. The HOA strictly enforces quiet hours from 10 pm - 8 am; please refrain from making excessive noise that may bother the neighbors. Guests will be responsible for any fines incurred by HOA violations.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION : The only transportation services legally allowed at the airport are private transportation companies, taxis, and rental cars. Please click the “Transportation” link if you would like to see rates for private transportation from the airport to the property.
LOCAL TRANSPORTATION : Uber is available in Los Cabos, but is notoriously unreliable. Taxis are great for returning to the house, but it can be hard to call them for pickups. We recommend a private driver named Felipe Martinez- he is very reliable, English-speaking, and charges comparable rates to Uber. Text or calls please contact

ACs and STREAMING SERVICES : We will leave the ACs and TV on so you know they are working upon arrival.
PARKING : You must check in at security- the will already have your name and can direct you to the condo. There is parking available on-site for an additional cost of $3.50 USD per day. This fee must be paid at the HOA office; they only accept credit/debit cards- no cash.
TRASH goes in the cans are located in the parking lot between pet and cat park.
PETS : Per the HOA regulations, guests are not permitted to have pets at Misiones.
SERVICE ANIMALS : Misiones will accept service animals (as defined under Title II and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act) that are accompanying a guest. The individual will have to provide documentation from their home State/Country that their animal has received training and is certified as a service animal prior to accepting the reservation. Support animals will not be allowed to be brought to the facilities by renters or guests.
- Per HOA regulations, service animals are not permitted in the pool area or pool bar area.
- Service animal owners must use the designated area in the Pet Park to let their animal defecate, and must immediately pick up excrement and dispose of it in the designated waste bins.
